A major problems with most law firm marketing is that we get our marketing ideas from looking at what other lawyers do. That's the reason why with most lawyer advertising you could lay that ads side by side and see that they are all pretty much the same.

What do you get when your ad looks pretty much the same as everyone else's?

"Average"--after all, that's the definition of being about the same as everyone else. "Average advertising" leads to average results. Guaranteed.

What lawyers really need to do more of is to look "outside the box" and into other industries and businesses. How do successful entrepreneurs in other businesses market? Then, you ask this question: How can I use that idea in my business?"

I know, I know..."Your business is different." No it's not...and will talk more about that shortly.
